Uniquely, products are also searchable against the environmental benefit you wish to obtain, such as low off-gassing, or by individual Green Building Rating scheme credit such as LEED, through the ‘eco-outcomes’ search.

And of course, the database is also searchable by Keyword.

How much of ecospecifier is in the public domain?

As part of ecospecifier's desire to make information about environmentally preferable product widely accessible, an expanding section of the database is available in the public domain, and this percentage grows regularly as new Basic Plus Listings are added. As a general rule these are products suited for residential & commercial applications, and should be of interest and use to both professionals and non-specialist users.
