Product Description:

A low volume, high performance insulation that combines reflective air spaces with a low emittance enclosed air, thermal conduction barrier to provide a thermal break predominantly for steel-framed construction.

Air-Cell Insulbreak is manufactured with a closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene foam structure sandwiched between two layers of highly reflective aluminium foil surfaces.

The plain foil surface reflects 97% of radiant heat. The cross-linked foam structure acts to significantly reduce conductional heat gain and is highly stable and durable.

A fibre-free, non-allergenic, low-VOC insulation product, manufactured without the use of formaldehyde or water. When fully taped at joints, Insulbreak performs as an effective vapour barrier as well as an insulation blanket and thermal break in steel framed construction. Product is suitable for use in most building envelope applications, such as in exterior walls, under roofs, and under suspended floors.
