Product Description:

The Pierlite GreenStreet is a roadway luminaire that utilises new T5 technology and is designed to replace older less efficient fluorescent and mercury vapour fixtures. It is an energy efficient luminaire that can lead to significant energy savings. Applications include road lighting, path works, cycle ways, transport interchange, drive ways, car parks, and marinas.

The lamps utilised with the product are T5, high colour rendering index lamps. The luminaire has efficient optical performance which is achieved by the use of a UV-stabilised acrylic prismatic refractor lens. It has high efficiency wide light distribution, low glare and allows only 4% upward spill.

The housing is constructed using aluminium and is formed using a high pressure die-casting process. The finish is a processed aluminium surface. The four lens hinges are constructed using heavy duty stainless steel for durability and long life.

In order to maintain optical integrity the luminare is designed so that the optics & gear chamber are sealed separate to the connection chamber.

The GreenSteet is electronically controlled to allow automatic daylight switching for good energy management.

A continuous silicone gasket provides an IP65 protection rating which ensures no ingress of dust or water.
